Wikipedia https://www.wikipedia.org/ says:
“Tiara Jacquelina Eu Effendi is a Malaysian award-winning actress, film producer, musical theater producer, and the proud founder of The Enfiniti Academy of Musical Theatre and Performing Arts, an institution that aims to nurture creative talents in Malaysia. She is well-acclaimed for her role in Puteri Gunung Ledang, the biggest budget movie ever produced in Malaysia up until 2005, in which she played the lead character and sang the theme song, “Asmaradana”.
It is refreshing to see her progress on exciting projects and activities. She is very down to earth, warm & personable. A true humble and passionate Malaysian.
“One day, I called for a meeting with my events team and told them, guys, we’re going into TV production. I’ve organised for a group from Indonesia to organise production management and script writing workshops starting next week. And every one of us just looked at each other, took a leap of faith and survived the deep end together. The rest of our journey is pretty much the same drill. Leap of faith, jump. Leap of faith, jump!”
What Made Her Successful?
Malcolm Gladwell in his book The Tipping Point talked about the Law of the Few. With a good proposition, what he calls “Stickiness Factor”, and solid “Context”, a tipping point can be achieved with a few key people – Connectors, Maven and Salesman. The tipping point is that magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behaivor crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire. http://gladwellbooks.com
Gladwell in his other book Outliers: The Story of Success said that success is not just about innate ability. It’s combined with a number of key factors such as opportunity, meaningful hard work (10,000 hours to gain mastery), and your cultural legacy. Random factors of chance, such as when and where you were born can influence the opportunities you have.
This lady is dynamic. She went on from success to bigger success and is great crowd puller. People want to see her, and they like what they see. The Malaysian theatre scene is a tough one. Efforts were made to educate the public, and nurture the young artists.
Tiara is a maven, and an outlier. And has her 10,000 hours of mastery, and is now a veteran of the industry. The company has built a great network locally and in South East Asia. The team is passionate about sales. Puan Sri Tiara Jacquelina and her team have all the elements described in Gladwell’s books. They are successful, and destined for even bigger successes. Kudos, and thank you for making dreams come true.
We are looking forward to Puteri Gunung Ledang 2. I am very proud of Puan Sri, and what she has done for her career, and the industry. Truly a Champion. Proudly Malaysian. A Treasure.
