Creador was established in 2011. Brahmal Vasudevan and the firm has raised close to $900 million of investor commitments across 3 private equity funds. The firm invests in various industries including financial services, consumer durables, retail, F&B, pharmaceutical, healthcare, media and business services.
Established in 2011, Creador closed its maiden fund, Creador I, at US$130 million. Investments were made in Indonesia, Malaysia, and India. Familiar names include Old Town White Coffee and Bonia.
Creador’s second fund, at $331 million in 2014 with 12 investments. Familiar names include GHL, CTOS Data System, Asiamet Education Group, Red Cap (Pharmacy) and 7-11 (Malaysia).

Who is Khoo Hsu Chuang?
Khoo Hsu Chuang is a financial journalist with over two decades experience. He worked in KL, Singapore, Tokyo, Hong Kong and London, covering financial and capital markets for The Edge, Bloomberg and Thomson-Reuters in print, newswire, internet and digital TV broadcast formats.
